Anxiety Treatment in Arizona

Angela Marton, PMHNP-BC, provides evidence-based anxiety treatment via telehealth for patients across Arizona. Whether you're dealing with generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety, or specific phobias, you can get a comprehensive evaluation and start medication management from the comfort of home.

What anxiety treatment looks like

Your first appointment is a 45–60 minute comprehensive evaluation. Angela will ask about your symptoms, history, lifestyle, sleep, and what's been triggering your anxiety. By the end, you'll have a clear assessment and a collaborative treatment plan. Follow-up appointments are typically scheduled within 2–4 weeks to check how you're doing.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need medication for anxiety?

Not necessarily. Medication is one tool, not the only one. At your first appointment, Angela will talk through all your options — including what research says works best for your specific type of anxiety — and you'll decide together what makes sense.

How long does anxiety treatment take?

Many patients notice improvement within 2–4 weeks of starting medication. That said, finding the right medication and dose takes time. Most patients need several follow-up appointments over 3–6 months to get to a stable, effective treatment plan.

Can I do appointments online?

Yes — all appointments are via telehealth. You can be seen from anywhere in Arizona: your home, your car, your office. All you need is a device with a camera and a reasonably private space.

What if I've tried medication before and it didn't work?

That's actually very common, and it doesn't mean medication can't help you. Different medications work differently for different people. Angela will go through your history carefully to understand what's been tried, what happened, and what might work better.
